Marching On

I missed any updates for February, but I am still here and breathing.  That helps.  I finished "Downbelow Station", by CJ Cherryh.  Written in 1981 and winning the Hugo Award, it is set in the future, as part of Cherryh's Merchanter/Cyteen/Company series of books.  Excellent read.

Cricket is almost done for the season.  1sts will make the finals and just need to win the last game to guarantee the minor premiership.  2nds finished 5th, a very good effort for us this year with 4 wins.  To put that in perspective, 2nd grade had won about 2 games in the last 4 seasons.

Soccer practice is in full swing, with a few trial games coming up and the full season starting in three weeks.  There is no rest between soccer and cricket seasons this year, with the cricket GF on the same day as the first NIF Premier League game.  Even I can't be in two places at once, so one will have to give.
